America’s Seniors: Reunited And It Feels So Good
Over much of the last year, long term care residents were limited to interactions with loved ones through a window or a screen, unable to feel their touch or embrace. Now, thanks to the ongoing rollout of the COVID-19 vaccines, nursing homes and assisted living communities are safely welcoming visitors back – and residents are finally having long-awaited, safe reunions with those they care about.
